As a nutritional therapist, I focus on the belief that there are underlying nutritional and biochemical imbalances in the body that lead to ill health. I take a holistic approach to my clients, devising for them a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan to help maintain their well-being.
This includes recommendations to restore nutritional balance, which may include guidance on avoiding certain toxins and allergens, detoxification and the use of supplementary nutrients such as high-dose vitamins. Where required I recommend specific lab tests to support my initial findings.
There is much evidence to suggest that in today’s world, primarily from the overuse of agricultural farming methods, the food we eat is vastly depleted in nutrients plus it’s not always possible to get organic produce when we need it and it can be expensive. I look to give a supplement boost where appropriate to reboot the body’s system and get it back on track.
